We are Hams, friends, radio professionals and hobbyists. We
all are interested in maximizing our IPSC knowledge and
experience. But we also like to rag-chew, FM style. Most
of our repeaters have only a few users though several
have 5-20 regular users, so our network is not yet busy. We use
a Talk Group known as "Comm 1" on Time Slot 1 as our
main "channel" for network activity while Time Slot 2 is
reserved for local repeater activity and not generally
connected to the network, though even this is changing
as the c-Bridge is taking on more control of the network(s). We are
not like EchoLink and are not out to talk to the world
for the sake of a contact, at least not as a primary
endeavor, though it can have it's moments.
We welcome visitors to stop by on Comm 1 if you have a
TRBO radio. Echolink
(AKA TRBO-Link) is
available on our IPSC network and makes a fine Internet
streaming option for iPhones and computers.
Are you wondering why hams might find
TRBO to be of some value to hams in the digital world?

Check out our
Repeater Listing Page
for a better idea of where we are located and to make
contact with a local repeater owner as well as the
Simplex modes.
We encourage our repeater users to follow the
GSM-ID (DMR/GSM) and to operate in accordance with our
guidelines. This
helps us ensure a smooth and seamless operation across
the multiple networks that are now inter-connected.
DCI is now publishing a
Multi-Network TRBO
Codeplug which can help in getting new users up on
TRBO machines in the USA.
If you are a MotoTRBO user and wish to
use one of our local IPSC repeaters, then check out our
User Information
Page.
While we are primarily an open repeater group, our local
repeater owners have a voice in how they operate their
repeaters. But all owners have agreed to allow
open use of Comm 1 by visiting and traveling hams . Any emergency or priority traffic
or scheduled operations trumps our normal requirements of course.
If you are a TRBO repeater owner operating in the
Amateur service in full time digital mode and wish to explore
affiliating with our IPSC network or via the c-Bridge, then go to our
repeater affiliation
page. We would hope that prospective new
member repeaters would fit in with our style of Ham
radio and IPSC network operation.
